The weather is getting warmer and the days are getting longer, which means summer is in full swing in Fort Wayne, Indiana! While you’re visiting the city for a convention or an event, you can enjoy many of the summer activities Fort Wayne has to offer. 

Go to the Park

Downtown Fort Wayne is uniquely entwined by three rivers that meet at the newly developed Promenade Park! Just a few blocks from Grand Wayne Convention Center, Promenade Park is the perfect spot to enjoy the outdoors in the middle of the city. Riverboat rides and kayak rentals are available, too!

Try the Cuisine

Grab a bite at one of our many downtown restaurants. Grand Wayne Convention Center is located within walking distance of more than 60 of the local favorites. Pop over to Burger Bar for some fries and a burger, or grab some pizza at Pint & Slice or homemade pastries at Conjure Coffee in the Botanical Gardens across the street!

Taste on the Go

Speaking of good eats, consider trying one of Fort Wayne’s finest food trucks. The food trucks travel around the city throughout the week, so check out their schedule and try some of the local flavors.
