Grand Wayne Convention Center earns national “Best Of” Award among U.S. convention centers for fourth consecutive year
OCTOBER 29, 2025, Fort Wayne, Indiana — Grand Wayne Convention Center (GWCC) in downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana, has earned national recognition among U.S. convention centers, based on a North American survey of event planners coordinated by Meetings Today magazine.
The 2025 “Best Of” award is based on an independent polling of event planners from across the U.S. identifying their top choice event venues and destinations. Award categories are divided by Convention Centers, Hotels, CVBs/DMOs and further defined by regions: East, West, MidAmerica, South, and Global. "Convention Centers" is a standalone category. The criteria for nominating destinations was the overall service they provided to planners for their meetings and events, reflect the following:
- Quality of meeting space, guest rooms, guest services and amenities
 - Food and beverage service
 - Efficiency and helpfulness of staff
 - Availability and quality of technology
 - Recreational facilities and activities
 - Cleanliness
 - Overall value and experience
