Grand Wayne Convention Center (GWCC) continues to safely welcome event planners and their guests with health-centered methods that comply with the standards and guidlines of state and local health departments. We continue to embrace these health measures to ensure the cleanliness of our facilities for the health of our employees and visitors.

To that end, we have implemented an Event Precautions form for event organizers and promoters that grants them the authority to enforce precautionary measures within their rental space, including the wearing of face coverings, physical distancing, spacing, and grouping restrictions.

Here are a few of GWCC's key cleaning and sanitation protocols:

• Sanitation stations for attendees at the entrances of rental spaces
• Frequent cleaning and disinfection of rental space and high-touch surfaces
• Face coverings and physical distancing maintained by staff, temporary labor, and visitors who are not fully vaccinated
• Entry point displays and signs to remind all individuals to practice good health and safety habits
• Touchless / automatic toilets, sinks and soap dispensers in all restrooms
• Hands-free door options at exterior and interior entry and exit points
• Advanced air filters and 24/7 air circulation during events
• Modified food service policies and practices to promote guest and staff safety
